For this competition brief, the task was to use a certain paper stock by Fedrigoni (Woodstock), and create four candle packaging designs. They had to work together and form collection. 

I decided to base my candle designs on the four elements; Fire, Water, Earth and Air. These are a collective in themselves, which lends themselves to candle scents all the time, and are ever popular in popular culture. This idea gave me a great base of different colours to work with, and allowed me to use many different colours of their paper, really showing it in its natural form. 

The design also had to include a sticker for the vessel, and a candle vessel design. 

The brief mentioned they wanted a natural feel for the outcome, and to relate to nature. I conveyed this by using the basis of nature for the theme, and creating simple patterns of the elements, allowing the natural texture of the paper, and the natural paper colours through.
